Marking the Occasion

It's hard to believe but sometime around 4 pm today I will have been married to my husband for 25 YEARS! It boggles my mind to think we have been together for this long and as of sometime in July of this year we will have officially been a 'couple' for 30 years (we started dating at around 15).  It just doesn't seem like it could be possible.

Congratulations. That's a lovely thing, a good, long-lasting marriage, isn't it? I'm looking forward to our 15th in March and our 20th together in September this year. I thought it was interesting because I feel like I'm just ten years behind you! *grins*

OH wow congratulations. I love hearing that people reach this milestones especially with so much divorce and separation in this world. IN November hubby and I will be together for ten years and sometimes I wonder how we made it thus far. In 25 year you must have so many good times. Here's hoping you have many more for the next 25.

It really does boggle me when I think of how long it has been, their have been so really crazy times and a lot of things that would have broken plenty of marriages but we have always kept talking (sometimes VERY loudly) and we always seem to muddle through. I just can't help be happy about having such a wonderful 'boyfriend' sighh *wanders off to snuggle a bit.*
