[Everyday, the Other Father took his spare time from working to take care of the kids and the Pokémon. With his home empty of children to care for, instead he spends his time taking his friends out into the surrounding routes of Goldenrod. Today was no different, and they all had the added bonus of the snow.

This time, he's made his way a bit further out onto the route, his little Eevee walking by his side, out of her Pokeball as always. He sees a Pokemon knocking a man over in the distance, and rushes over as fast as he could, mistakening the Pokemon to be wild. ]

The Ditto rears its pink, curious head from behind his bangs. The four other Pokémon chirping up with joy to answer his question. The Other Father chuckles.]
Think they already answered? Yep. [He opens his arms in a grand gesture towards his Pokémon, one at a time.]
Meet Garlic, [The Oddish.] Calypso, [The Psyduck.] Snapdragon [The Dratini. And then he looks behind him, his grin widening at the Wartortle that's shying behind a bunch of grass.] A~nd Bobby.

[ He's got a Magikarp, too. But um... it's not a very social Pokemon. ]

I'd say they'll get along ju~st fine. [With a smile, he turns his gaze back to Maes, from the Pokémon, and puts his hand out in front of him.]
Would give you a name, 'cept I don't have one; but kids call me their Other Father?

It's nice to meet you, er... Other Father. [ That sounds... incredibly odd to say. ] I'm Maes.

[The Ditto on his shoulder comes out of hiding now and stares at Maes, as intensely as a Ditto can stare. It's judging you, Maes, judging whether you're trustworthy.]

I've never seen a Pokemon just approach someone like that, before. You must be a pretty gifted trainer!

Well, I don't think this lil' guy wants to fight. Not all wild Pokémon are... well, wild! [Or at least, in his experience.]

He stares in awe as the little Ditto transforms into his glasses. And for a moment, he takes his own off to compare. ]
