Happy birthday... late.

I could do without the curses too. They hadn't really affected me negatively until this last one.

Thank you very much.

Oh! You sound rather familiar. Were you the one I spoke to who had the crown?

You're welcome! You should treat yourself to a cupcake or something to celebrate.

Yeah. I remember you. Although I was a little distressed so I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Alexis.

Oh, well, Blue did give me a cake! It was quite lovely, and tasted even better.

My name is Alice. It's very nice to meet you.

Not much of a place to spend a birthday, this City. My condolences.

Thank you, but, really, I think it could have been much worse if there had been a curse today.

Holy crap.

You don't sound like any eight year old I've ever known. I mean, the way you speak, at least.

Happy birthday, all the same.

Yes, I know, my sister says I'm a bit peculiar. I'm not quite sure I can help it. But, thank you.

Oh! The Looking-Glass Country is the place on other side of the mirror. I started out in the Looking-Glass House, but of course I had to see the garden outside of it as well. Just think of it: rather than turning to the right, that corridor turns to the left, and everything is the wrong way around.

A bit? Maybe she meant A LOT. If not for your voice and mentioning your age, I would have thought you were an adult. Even an old lady.

You just twisted my brain around, I think. Everything the wrong way sounds like a mirror, though. This reminds me of a curse we had. It was a bit like that. Weird. Twisted. Things the wrong way. It was mainly people that were the wrong way.
