StarORE Rules Tweak

For those looking for a fast, easy-to-learn system for playing Star Wars, StarORE, which is essentially an adaptation of West End Games' d6 system to Greg Stolze's One Roll Engine, is an excellent starting point.  However, the rules for the Dark/Light Side balance seem a little bland to me.  This is an attempt to fix them.

Since posting this, I've noticed that StarORE includes a skill called Stability, representing a character's control over their emotions. Natch.

Dark Side 'stress tests' should use this skill instead of Meditation. Meditation is still used for getting rid of hardened notches and drawing on the Light Side.

I just read this, and it's a very cool idea. I wrote Star ORE long before we did Nemesis, so the madness meters weren't in my mind. But they're a very good fit. I hope to revisit Star ORE in a few months when Wild Talents 2nd Edition comes out and will need to work something like this into it.
