Interim tres Oh: Don't be alarmed if it says something about hitler. [I always give that warning. Three different psychics and past life regressions all pointed to the signs of me being the leader of the third reich.]

Interim tres Oh: I respect Hitler though... actually ( Read more... )

Hitler created the holocaust along with every other person who didn't bother to fight back or do anything. They're all equally bad, including the US government who for years knew the awful things going on and did not bother to intervene until they were unable to make any more money.

as much as i hate the US government and would do whatever i could to trash it, you gotta give blame were blame is due. the US goverment actually knew very little of what was going on in terms of the holocaust. in fact, the majority of german people didnt even know it was happening. sure we all knew about the ghettos but not so much about the concetration camps and little or nothing of the death camps.

i agree with you in the sense that he had such big and beautiful plans for the world... and i also believe that he was quite courageous to try to change the world for what he believed would be better. granted, most people think both hitler crazy for "doing what he did" and me for thinking that it wasn't so bad...
which, the topic was brought up in US history this year about hitler never doing anything good for his country. and altho i dont participate, i wish i could have just said "he wanted to do something he believed in. what is more courageous and good than that?"

I guess I've missed something here.

What were these big beautiful plans that were misinterpeted? How, precisely, does one misinterpet ANYTHING to produce death camps? What was the problem that needed a resolution? And why did Hitler, the boss, not say "whoops, I didn't mean you were supposed to kill 12 million people"? Indeed, why did he not say "You can stop now that these several thousand people are dead, because I was misinterpeted? Oh, and that invastion of Poland, and France, and the rest? Also misinterpetation."

the ubermensch was the brainchild of dr joseph mengel. who, in his credit, despite singlehandedly torturing, mutating, and killing millions of people, he found out endless things about the human genome. our studies in cloning wouldnt be near as far as they are if not for him. whether or not cloning is evil is another story altogether ;-).

Never put much thought into it. Although I do know Hitler was into art, theatre, mythology and things of that sort, so that makes him cool with me. Perhaps you are right and he just got involved in something that blew up way to big, but I dunno. I've read about his life and how he was before, and even during, the horrific events that too place and he really doesn't sem like that bad of a guy. Kinda reminds me of myself in some ways.
