What would you reccommend for PSP?

Hi all! I just got my very first PSP, and I'd really like some suggestions for what otome games I should try to get first, as there are so many that I want XD;; Beautiful art and a significant amount of voice overs is essential. And if anyone's selling anything, let me know! I'd prefer to buy used ^^

type: psp

There's really a lot of choices for psp, it depends on what genres you like (fantasy, historical, school setting, etc)! You could check out the Otomate games, they are fully-voiced and have nice art. In fact, most otome games are fully voiced these days except for ones made by Koei.

I am thinking of selling death connection psp [link], just make an offer if you are interested!

I am not sure if its your type of game, Italian mafia setting and shinigami. XD The game has a lot of humour, but its mostly a dark/sad story + there is a skinship system.

Thanks for the tip! I was looking at Death Connection and I am interested, but I haven't really played any "darker" games yet. Let me think about it a little, I might make you an offer!

I guess for the most part I like more realistic stories, but I would be interested in trying some fantasy, too. The only real fantasy otome game I've played is the Alice series.

Almost all of the otoge I play these days are on the PSP if you're interested in fishing through some reviews XD; http://majinken.pmsinfirm.org/?tag=otome

But yeah, asking recs by console itself is going to give you a realllly huge selection so if you have more details on what you're looking for I could give more specific recs XD

Thanks for the link! I've read through some of your reviews before, but looking at them again has reminded me of a few games I had forgotten about ^^

I was actually particularly interested in Uta no Oniisama and that Grimm-inspired game, but it looks like you didn't rate the Grimm one very well ^^;; I'm pretty open when it comes to what type it is, but since I don't have a lot of money I'd like one with a lot of replayablitiy! I've always wanted to play the Starry Sky games, too, but since I don't have a PC I haven't been able to. I think they're porting them to the PSP, too?

Looks like you rated Real Rode pretty high, too, I might check that one out XD

Oniisama LOL you mean Prince-sama? It's also getting an anime in the summer, so I could also just recommend waiting for that, unless you're that into the specific seiyuu and music like I am. :3 ( ... )

Haha yea I meant Prince-sama, yea. The Vit X and Y games and Lucian Bees both look great! I was always really interested in them because of the art. Thanks for the suggestions!

That helps too, thanks!

Have you tried the Starry Sky port? I'm kind of interested in those ^^

I played Starry Sky, and it's... overrated, to say the least. It's technically about nothing. They suffer pointlessly or hesitate without a single solid reason, characters are pretty much cliche, because you a particular type for each character. Each of the editions (Summer, Spring, Winter, Autumn) has one good (more or less interesting) character and the rest are not so interesting ( ... )

Yea, I'm getting from most people that the Starry Sky games are pretty overrated. Thanks for all of the other suggestions, too! "Are You Alice?" looks pretty interesting to me ^^ I'll be popping you a PM so this thread doesn't get too long!

I actually like Love Revo since its almost similar to TMGS in stats raising *although in this is mostly to slim you down* and dating guys but yeah the loading in PSP is pretty bad...

Haven't try Starry sky but if you are into school romance visual novel, you might like that one.
