Yesterday was my birthday. I'm 16 now! It's so hard to believe that a year from now, I'll be able to do magic on my own. Well, outside of school that is.

I like the kitty look. So cute! I think Mittens likes my tail. She's tried to bat it a few times... and she always looks so adorable when she does. Argent thinks her attempts are funny, I think. He's staying curled up and watching her do it.

OW! No claws, Mittens! *lifts her off his tail*

Owls are almost here. I can't believe it.

I guess I'll have to start concentrating on my studying more, huh?

I really don't want this year to end. Not just because of the exams, either. I just... don't want it to come to an end at all.
