It is somehow apropos that I am spending my last week before officially moving in the city where the entire concept of America, and what it means to be American, was born. This city is so old (for us) in so many ways, sometimes it's almost funny. Not only does Philadelphia house America's first hospital and first public university, it also is home

Ich fliege direkt nach Berlin, und habe eine Wohnung durch craigslist.com gefunden, die ich bis Ende Februar miete. Dann muss ich etwas dauerhaftes finden. Ich freue mich sehr darauf!

Ich liebe Berlin - mindestens war ich von ihr total begeistert als ich dort einen Sommer gearbeitet habe. Mal sehen wie es jetzt gehen wird; vielleicht bleibe ich Jahren, oder vielleicht ist es nur Sprungbrett für Ost-Europa oder irgendwo anders! Im Moment denke ich aber eher das Erste...
