Kitchen Disaster

Normally, I'm a pretty decent cook, frequently better than decent, but NOT today. I had a nice portion of stew meat left (labelled as "Gulasch" here) and thought I'd give it a good long simmer with some curry spice or something. But, before I could even brown the poor meat, it got buried under an explosion of pepper. No matter, I think, I'll get
