My dream job, or at least the entry to my dream job, is open at the US Embassy-Berlin. I am definitely not technically qualified for the position, but it's to cover for a maternity leave, so I'm applying anyway on the off-chance they can't find anyone better for only six months... unlikely, but worth a try. Heck - I'll write a full white paper

Have you thought about taking the foreign service exam?

Yeah. Probably will end up doing that this spring. Although I was kind of planning on getting the master's before going that route. I don't know. I'm still the kid who thinks they can do anything, so instead I end up floating.
