Keep in mind, you probably won't need any furniture, your flat will be furnished, but you will need kitchen things, etc. Amazon has all that, and are usually the cheapest, at least in the US and UK.

The last time I went there, antiquated_tory was acting in an ad for Media Markt*. He's really quite into his food, and afterwards I told him "Dude, you have GOT to come to this amazing food hall with me tomorrow! You will not BELIEVE some of the stuff they have in there! It's amazing!"
...you can tell where this is going, can't you?
The next day was SUNDAY, and I'd forgotten about German Sunday trading laws. :-(
*I don't know if you remember it, but he played a man with a very hairy chest who saved money by brushing out his chest hair rather than buying a sweater. It was awful, but the money was nice.

Deutsche (und andere) Muttersprachler haben normalerweise keine Probleme mit der Grammatik, nur mit der Rechtschreibung.
Ein schlimmes Beispiel ist: "Schanksee" für "Chance", Möglichkeit.
