Otter!
I saw an otter in my pond on Monday. That's easily the most amazing thing that's happened to me for ages! It ran away, but I hope it will be back. Maybe it was a refugee from the swollen almost-flooded river Duad (pronounced dee-ad...obviously).

Speaking of which, have you seen the episode of South Park where sea otters take over the world? One of them says "I shall crush you like a whelk on my tummy!" - I love it.
