Anybody still here?

I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted anything here! Big apologies to everyone for being so terrible at keeping in touch. Every time I think about LJ or emailing anyone my brain just turns to mush. The days of seeing murasaki_star and gourou and roseformyrose in London (in the pub! I never go to the pub these days) seems sooooo long ago...actually 2 years is a ( Read more... )

We're still here. Know a bit what you mean about forgetting/ not having time/energy to post etc. though with me the guilt tends to kick in because here's me enjoying reading all these different posts day after day, and I'm not contributing anything...

Polly is v. cute!

I can't believe raspberries aren't far off - even though we've had our first strawberries now (from the greenhouse, but it'll only be a couple of weeks at most before we're onto outdoor ones).

*hugs & best wishes*

She is lovely! We must meet up soon and have kiddies play together! We were in North Wales last week. :)

My angelica herb has grown massive, time to cut and turn them into candied pieces for baking! :)

Aw thank you, she is a sweetie. People keep coming up to us in Tesco to tell me how lovely she is...I think it's the blonde ringlets :D It would be lovely to meet up and see little Jamie. One day when we (me and Jim) are less broke I'll make it back to Sheffield!

I've never tried angelica, but I've been trying to think of more herbs to grow in the garden. Things keep dying in the winter :(

Our oregano which I sowed under the buddleia has survived everything Wales has thrown at it so far - in fact, it's thriving so much I'm going to have to learn how to dry it!

My oregano is doing well too. Lemon thyme and sage also, but I've lost 2 rosemary bushes and my camomile and normal thyme :( And mint grows everywhere of course.

Aw, Polly is gorgeous!

It's lovely to hear how you're getting on, and was great to see you in the pub even though it seems ages ago now.

Hope the vegetables grow well! I'm determined to get some of my own going now that I have a garden again, but am mostly consumed with wisteria-wrangling at the moment...

Thank you, I think she's lovely ;) She has blonde ringlets now...definitely her daddy's hair.

Hope you're keeping well. Where have you moved to? We had a nice garden in Turnpike Lane. There was a conservatory so we had loads of chilli and aubergine and cucumbers.

I'm now in Crouch End, so not far from Turnpike Lane at all! It's really lovely there - garden is small but I reckon I can grow some stuff in pots, I'm just worrying about the slug problem. They are such arseholes!
