hi! this is so strange because i used to live in boston..cambridge actually until i moved to silver spring, maryland six years ago. i still miss boston so much and i may just move back there after i graduate from college. this summer i worked in dc and i know exactly what you mean about the constant threat of something happening somewhere like so many "suspious" packages found on the metro. where do you live exactly in dc? my favorite places here are dupont circle and adams morgan. :)

oh, i adore cambridge - cambridge, to me, is like the bermuda triangle in that i always got lost in attempting to navigate it, but i adore it all the same. even the least stellar parts, like creepy industrial kendal square. if i had to live in boston again i'd live in cambridge. i went to school in boston & then i lived in brookline for two years. i can understand why you want to go back, but i'm still really enthralled with dc!
