After three years of having orthodontic braces on to help correct my hemifacial microsomia (a birth defect), they're off; and to paraphrase RuPaul, I'm looking good, feeling gorgeous... er, handsome. I go back in a week to pick up the retainer I'll have to constantly wear for a few weeks and then tapering off to only sporadically at night. In
