I still need to listen to more 2014 releases, but my top prog album of 2014 would probably be the Perfect Beings album. It’s the latest group from Johannes Luley, who brought us the excellent Moth Vellum back in 2008. It’s not as good as Moth Vellum, but it brings us a similarly inspired mix of Yes-inspired prog and tuneful modern rock.

Also enjoying:

Druckfarben: Second Sound (the latest from this very talented Canadian combo, and probably battling the Perfect Beings for my top spot)
FEM: Sulla bolla di sapone
Ad Maiora: self-titled
Lazuli: Tant que l’herbe est grasse (funny, never much cared for this French band before, but I was quite taken by their latest release!)
Humana Prog: Fiori, frutti, farfalle (hippie-ish folk-progressive ( ... )

I do agree on Haken, they've been in my rotation for a while. Also Porcupine Tree. Haven't heard Magenta, will give 'em a listen :)
