Well, it appears the Gods do have a sense of humor. In the ongoing freezing up of all vehicles around me, (this would be the fourth one this year) it looks like I am suddenly going to Portland Oregon to pick up a van for Michael so that our family can actually have two cars for three drivers. This will be a fun trip...and what I get for envying

We need to work out this timing thing a little better. I actually drove through Denver on Monday wondering if you were there.

It's probably best that we did miss each other. Turns out about 2/3 of the family members that I hung out with Friday afternoon through Saturday morning got sick. I managed to avoid the worst but have still felt like crap the past several days which included sleeping for about 14 hours Sunday night and Monday morning.

We'll be in for quite awhile for Christmas and New Year's so we'll have to plan an evening for then assuming you'll be in town. The current plan is to drive in on the 23rd and stay through the 1st.
