This is a very infrequent thing. She doesn't do all the Witchcamps and is doing them less and less I understand. She hasn't been in the Midwest for a few years. This would be intense.
It turned her off, too, twenty years later. She put out a 20th Anniversary addition with footnotes explaining and in some cases repudiating her own words. She talked about what she'd learned, where she was coming from then and now... it was wonderful.
Her book Webs of Power: Notes from the Global Uprising (2002) is the best book I've ever read about weaving together spirituality and politics. It's about being a witch and an activist - some extremely powerful stuff.
These days she's all about inclusive, eco-friendly pagan activism.
I highly recommend the June weekend with Trebbe Johnson. Trebbe is one of the warmest, most genuine people that I've ever met, and her workshops were very self reflective for the participants. I learned a lot about fear and desire and a healthy balancing of caution and striving.
