Yeah. it was fun. Ganked from multiple sources.

1. Pick 15 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDB and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. NO GOOGLING/using IMDB search functions. Totally cheating, you dirty cheaters!

movies belooooow! )

2. The Lion in Winter (brilliant choice)

9. Moonstruck

15. The Money Pit (I adored the way Gudunov played that role and I can't forget how beautifully he did the "I'm shallow and self-centered" part of the speech.)

I agree.. he delivered those lines so well, then stalks off, smoking or something. :) Funny scene.

And the "pay attention!" quote is my new favorite, after, "And you I'd hang from the nipples, but you'd shock the children!".

That and, "How about eternal peace? Now there's a solution!"

Katie Hepburn was so amazing in that movie..

Gudunov was such a presence. It was a funny scene and the other scene in that film that had me laughing was when the bathtub fell through the floor and Hanks just keeps doing that goony "I'm going over the edge now, thank you very much" laugh.

That film is one great line after another. Let's see how my memory serves me since I have not seen it in years:
We could tangle spiders in the webs you weave.
So the royal corkscrew finds me twisted?
God, I do love being king!
If you caught on fire I would not piss on you to put you out.
Affection is a pressure I can bear.
She had nice teeth. She smiled to excess but she chewed with great distinction.
Honor? At a time like this you talk of honor? What does it matter? When the fall is all there is, it matters. (that one is probably my favorite)

Hepburn and O'Toole were both amazing. He and Kate had such a good relationship he named one of his daughters after her. She scolded him for drinking and carousing and he said it made him feel loved when she nagged him :)

that movie again. It's really one of the all time greatest. The Lion in Winter.. The Money Pit was pretty good but, you know, Katie Hepburn.

I love that someone else besides me liked The Imposters. Oliver Platt and Stanley Tucci together is so Win. Not to mention Tony Shaloub.
