Well, as there seems to be a mass emigration to dreamwidth, I went ahead and created an account here. The same level of service you've come to expect from me for lo these many years will no doubt be carried on over at the dreamwidth account. Many folks have started the change only to decide no matter where they go the same thing will happen. Crossposting seems to be the way of dealing with it.

I hear ya, Jim. However, LJ has two purposes for me. Occasionally I actually post on the thing, and I also keep up with what my friends are doing through it. If some friends are no longer posting to lj for privacy reasons, and I want to keep up with them, it's far easier for me to create a dreamwidth account for easier reading purposes. I doubt very much I'll close my lj account down, I've had the thing for about 8 years now.
