You know how KIMs- and Towel Boy-Dave's Mom is so out there and in your face and cool? Well I love Tess and Magz's version of her.

But this? This quieter, more maternal (less BFF) mother hit me so hard. I'm not a mother myself, nor do I have younger siblings. I've never had to sacrifice my success/happiness for my children, nor been able to feel parental/siblingly pride or joy for someone younger than me. But I still got this. And I loved it.

It's just a little snippet but it's just enough. I think it's absolutely perfect.

It means so much to me that you felt this, even though you're not maternal. I'm extremely maternal towards certain kinds of people (and just in general) and while I adore Tess and Magz's version of Mrs. K, this version has been developing in my head for a while now. I think I may include her in later fics, as well.
