Red Letter Day!
Last fall, MD's intention to work on a paper at school was thwarted by none of the school machines having OpenOffice. So, over the hols I made her install OpenOffice portable on a flash drive.
Today she actually used it! And admitted to me that it had come in -- I paraphrase -- right handy!
1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL?
Not in high school. However, I did go on the occasional, casual, date with some_mensch after HS. We also did group dates. Do I get points because pilgham attended our arch rival?

The kind you had to stick four tokens in.
3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY?
Yes. When I was 22. We had public transit.

I guess?
5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT?
Probably not
6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR?
No
7. WERE YOU A NERD?
Yes
8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS?
No
9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED?
No. The vice principal didn't even know my name. It kind of pissed me of that he was all buddy-buddy with the "bad" kids.
10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG?
Never knew it.
11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS?
Like I can remember back that far... Horton (3 yrs of physics) is the only stand out.

In the cafeteria?

Evanston Township HS
14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS?
Wildkit? Wildcat? Something like that. Blue and gold maybe?
15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHOM?
No.
16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU?
I actually had a decent social life but having found pilgham, I certainly don't want the hassle of looking for him again.

My mother, who was sitting in the back row, didn't stand when the parents were told to stand so they could be clapped for. And my Dad was in California, probably on business.

School.
19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS?
SF Club and Strategic Simulations (war gaming but we weren't allowed to use "war" in the name).
20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN?

A good book.
22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION?
It's a little late to plan... Did go though, largely because it was right by my house, even though I had moved across Chicago.
