Well hello everyone. That is, hello to anybody who might be out there. Three years ago when last I posted many of you on my friends list were already disappearing - most no doubt exiting for Facebook, perhaps some starting your own blogs, some just too busy or uninterested in continuing to post much at all. Hey there - I've asked about you a bunch of times and yelled when I saw you walking on the street once and mostly I've just been hoping you're ok. glad to hear from you. :)

Good to hear from you! I half expected to get no comments on this for weeks (or ever) but I should have figured you'd still be around (though you haven't updated your journal in a while, have you? I looked at a bunch of people's and saw very little activity). I've wondered about you, and a very small number of ex-coworkers. Dunno if I'm likely to attempt more than this minimal level of contact with anyone, but hey it's a start. As to whether I'm "ok" or not, well keep reading....hope you're doing better than I am, in any case!

I think lots of folks, including me, have gotten sucked into Facebook and the ease of making micro postie status updates rather than longer live journal ones. I still read LJ just about every day though.

Things for me are finally pretty good after being pretty bad for a while. I've taken solace in a quote from Rocky - "It ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward, how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done."
