japan from the eyes of a fangirl part 2

LOL this came so late sorry. >< Was sorta busy. |D And I'm lazy. btw day two I went to Universal Studios so there wasn't much fandom related stuff.

Fasio!Jun at some random shop.

couldn't resist not taking a photo of this gorgeous poster *w*

oh before I forget, the restaurant I went on 21st Nov for lunch played Monster and Tomadoi nagara. So I was munching on my katsudon and flailing to the songs. XD

Well, I was in Osaka. So if you say Osaka, then it's Kanjani8! :D And there you have it. Kanjani8 spam or rather Ryuhei spam in some random shop. 8D

Then we went to this tourist attraction : 清水寺 Before we go into the temple, we have to walk up this hill lined with shops on both sides, selling local food etc. There were many student groups there, I guess on field trips. And then I saw this shop ahead of me with a crowd of girls wearing school uniform, which caught my interest. I went further ahead towards that shop and WOW. FANDOM SHOP (all the posters outside lol). AND SUPER CROWDED. Just glanced at the shop first though, because it was seriously too crowded. -.- And I had to follow the tour guide. So I went into the shop when I came back down from the temple (thank god it wasn't as crowded then. I wouldn't want to squeeze with all the other fangirls. don't mind me but I kinda feel inferior to all the japanese fangirls. I mean like, they live in Japan and can meet them in person in concerts etc and can speak Jap and....Ah you get what I mean. Though I can speak Japanese, I still felt out of place. I have this impression that japanese fangirls sort of look down on us international fans. well, just my own thinking but...I'm a person with no confidence and shy so...). When I say fandom shop I mean there's Kpop stuff too. There's AKB too. But mainly is JE stuff. All unofficial of course. They had files, badges, card holders, keychains, photos, uchiwa etc. I went in alone while my parents are at some food shop lol. So I was feeling quite awkward standing there, fiddling with random keychains, not sure what to ask...until this really nice obaasan (60-70 years old?) asked me what I wanted. I'm quite sure she asked me 誰の something... I can't really remember. Then I answered 嵐 and then she gave me this set consisting of a file, a badge, a photo and a keychain and said the whole thing cost 1000yen. I considered but thought I didn't need another arashi file, so I asked her if she had any バッジ (badge) she asked who? Then I said 相葉ちゃん. She went back to the storage room and came out with 3 different versions. (while I marveled at how she could possibly remember all of the JE artists' names.) Mmm, the aiba badges weren't very nice. And I thought of giving badges to vanchanwq and wahahaha26 as well. But I thought it was a little troublesome to ask the obaasan to go back and take jun's and nino's so I just asked her 五人のありますか。 (Do you have badges of the five of them?) So she nodded and went back to get them, which I bought in the end. :D And she gave me a discount too. Asked for KAT-TUN after that for seventh-fantasy. Well, all in all it was a nice experience because I could communicate properly with the obaasan (yay my 4 years of jap) and the obaasan was really nice. :D

here's the badge I bought. :D

next...

let me tell you. kaibutsu-kun is like EVERYWHERE. Every 7-11 shop has this banner on the outside. Awesome eh, our leader?

sorry the pictures aren't taken from great angles. guess I was rushing.

oh I was bored. haha window of my hotel room.

then I watched my first live NEWS ZERO, bragging to my parents how my idol is also a newscaster. :D
