Wow, it seems to be a particularly good crop this time around. Yay!

It really was - I ended up reading almost everything twice at least and now I'm planning on reading back everything a few of these guys have ever written. I foresee getting even *more* behind in these.

*Reviews* Huh. I really should fix some of the grammar.

Re Volere Du Corps by unbroken_halo, which I'm unwilling to read 'cos I suspect I'd be even more disappointed (judging by the described details): do they have sex or at least kiss while swapped?

Oh yes, both - The spell is activated by a kiss, and Harry-as-Snape's scheme to get his body back is to fuck Snape-as-Harry. In fact, if she'd stopped the story after the transformation but before the ulcer interlude I probably would have given it a rec or rec+ and whined about "what happens next"?!
Harry boggling at the fact that not only had he liked kissing, but realizing from Snape's body that the crusty git was gay was priceless.

As it stands I feel like a Star Wars fan cringing at George. Perhaps a phantom edit is in order. ;)

What? Nothing to gleefully avoid? That's almost my favourite part of your recs ;)

But seriously, it looks like one has to have a look at a few of these. Thanks :D

Oh there's one or two that may trigger the back button ;) The worst for me was the unbroken_halo fic because it has potential - it was as if abundantlyqueer started writing it and then handed the lot to Orchyd to finish.

God, I got some great birthday presents, didn't I?

I think that Rex wrote the legilimency sex story, at least in part, because I sort of tout that in my "Sex Magic in HP" essay (it's in the memories over at regan_V. I have some links for some other stories like that in the essay. But since I wrote that (and I have the sense that it's by far the most popular bit of meta I've written. Probably because of the title), people who have written fic for me usually work that in.

I never object, of course.

You did! And normally people born this time of year get gipped, what with Xmas.

*checks out essay*

I am seriously digging on the shiny! New! HP is for me. When I got involved with LoTR it was new & I had read basically everything within a week or two - it was hard to stay entertained. But HP has such a fabulous backlog - its heaven.
