Wasn't sure what Lumos was, got my google-fu on and... it's sold out. Looks interesting though.

There is a waiting list. And you can buy registrations that people are selling (those who registered, and changed their minds, I mean) on a board that the site is running.

Or, many people are just going to go and stay at the hotels for the gathering, and NOT go to the panels (which is all you need the registration badge for) and simply hang with other fan friends. Half my flist is going to be there, I think.

Anyway, if you end up deciding to attend, let me know. I'm serous about the drink.

Sounds kinda neat. I've never been to a fandom convention - but if I go I'll certainly take you up on the drink. though I should mention that I work for a liquor company and often travel with a full bar. (No, I am not kidding - I travel a fair bit with this stuff for charity events mostly) So if I go maybe I'll bring it and get you a drink too ;D
