oh man, i'm so glad you got some real help. are you back on some kind of med that is helping too?

anxiety is such a terrible beast, and the inability to escape it feels like torture.

buspar is working REALLY well for me. i think i have a pretty different brand of anxiety than you (and no PTSD), but for me it's worked wonders. i can still feel when my anxiety is triggered, but it sort of fails to really take hold now. it's kind of amazing.

glad you updated. :)

oh gosh yes i am back. i wish i'd been under the care of a psychiatrist the whole time. i strongly recommend one for this sort of stuff. i am back on the one drug that has helped (celexa) but at a lower dose with an addition of buspar to boost it's effectiveness. i feel "okay" which is satisfying.

I was really happy to see you decided to go to the tx program. I really want you to heal from the inside out. Here's to those first steps!

I don't know of I'll ever heal but I'm play with that! If all I can do is "manage my illness" then sign me up! I feel like I learned a lot of great things about how to manage and relapse prevention so every experience has put me farther on the path of wellness than before I guess.
