So, Kitty and I were trying to decide on a logo for Mike. Sadly, I mostly specialize in creating smiley faces and something like this is a bit out of my range.

I've made one here, but I think it needs a bit of added spice.

I think it's the font. It's too plain. I don't have too much in the way of software right now, though. Perhaps you could see what you can do with it?
