I may have posted my old apartment a long time ago..

But no! My husband's mom gave it to me a couple years ago. I think
she got it from her mom? Either way I love it :)

Clean. spare and yet inviting and warm, a rare combination. I love the wood furniture and the rich warm colors. You did a marvellous job.

thank you. at mainview, my apartment was so tiny that it was extremely difficult to keep clean. Now that I have a much bigger apartment, cleaning and keeping it clean is no longer an issue, except for the closets. Sometimes the kitchen gets dirty due to not having a pantry (that problem will be solved soon) but even that gets cleaned rather quick. then i have a storage room downstairs, which is a really big bonus. Overall, I'm just really pleased with this place and I might as well make it a home. Who knows how long I'm going to be here... could be a couple years, could be ten.

funny that you mentioned that. I feel like I've been here for a very long time, yet I've only been here for 3 months. By now I had forgotten my old apartment and only shattered fragments of memory for that place exists...

time is kind of strange like that.

Actually the bedding came from shopko, which is a midwestern store similar to walmart and target. actually it may be more similar to TJ Maxx... However, I did find a comforter set just like it from walmart.com. You'll have to buy it online, but I think it can be shipped from site to store. The rest of the accessories came from Target, except for my chair and my two art prints. those were thrifted.
