It's like waking up in a jewelry box!

Last month I painted my room Tiffany Blue (it was red and white), and I'm pretty much done with it now (I have a couple of shelves to go up and some framed photos I took that I had blown up, plus I need to take the closet doors down and put up a curtain AND my bffs mom is making me a new quilt), and I have to say I LOOOOVE it. What else. I'm 24, recently changed my major from English to Biology because I decided I'm finally going to go for it and try to be a vet. I work at Starbucks. I take too many pictures and frame them like it's going out of style.

Anyway, your tour is hosted by Spooky. . .

also, Baby . . .

View from the door. . . my room severely lacks anything like drawers. It makes it difficult to hide anything. Thank goodness for locking doors.

I get really amazing natural light in the morning, especially when I don't have the blinds up (like right now). And the (stuffed) cat on the bed was a gift from when I had my first operation at 13 months old. It used to be white and fluffy, now it is gray and matted, and I still love it.

The back of my door. It is pretty jacked from where my dad sprayed the paint. He was only going to do the ceiling white and I was originally going to paint the walls myself with a roller, but my dad got his way. Like always. But anyways. Scarves, book bags, some purses, belts, etc. Plus my Harry Potter hat and my Warriors hat. Looove. Also, my full trash can with Taco Bell garbage in it. Whoops. Classy AND elegant.

CDs. And I haven't bought any new CDs in a really long time. Yeah. It's a little crazy. They're organized alphabetically by artist. Soundtracks and compilations follow those, alphabetical by title. OhSeaDee you are my friend.

Movies. Also alphabetical. And missing a few things that lousy friends will NOT return. Jesus.

Why hello, lover. My TV on DVD collection, minus the complete series of Alias, Roswell seasons 2 & 3, Dexter season 1 and both seasons of Dead Like Me. My friends really like that I basically function like NetFlix for TV. Also, I'm hoping that Santa will bring me the complete series of Angel, Gilmore Girls and/or The OC because I sold all my individuals back.

Bedside table #1. Jewlery, some of my perfumes, my necklace tree that is awesomely the same color as my room, my BOUNCING SOULS pint glass that I love love love, and a photo from my 23rd birthday. A girl that I'm not friends with anymore was front and center in that picture, so I sharpied her out.

Bedside table #2. My TV remote and my iPod speaker remote, my cell phone, the camera charger. A picture from Halloween last year with my bff. The box has spare buttons and a teeny tiny sewing kit in it. The white bear with the flowers was a gift from me to my Nana the last time she was in the hospital. After she passed away my mom made sure I got it. Way to go mom. The double frame has two of my favorite pictures of Cinders, and in front of the frame I have the paw prints the vet gave me.

See? God, I still miss her a painful amount.

The top of one of my bookcases. One of my Christmas trees, complete with Jack Skellington tree topper. In the back is a screen print that my friend Mani made for me. It's one of my favorites. The other things are a photo from Senior Prom (OMG SEVEN YEARS AGO), my senior mug, a tea cup and saucer that was my grandmothers, a hand carved angel from my old boss and a Precious Moments box with an Amethyst on it (my birthstone).

Bookcase. Photo albums, coffee table books and the BtVS/Angel books that I didn't take to storage. Some of my other books. More framed photos (man, it's a sickness). The bottom shelf has photos I need to sort (we're talking OLD photos -- like 80s), cards, journals and board games.

My window, and I do really have an awesome view. Also, the film reel picture frames from IKEA. And ANOTHER picture frame.

Bookcase the second. Last year Borders had really cute teeny trees, and maybe I went overboard. WHATEVER, it's the Christmas spirit.

Shelve of Harry Potters, framed photos.

Books. The first shelve is actually double stacked. The bottom shelve has manuals, starbucks books, some magazines, yearbooks, old textbooks and various crap.

The right part of my desk. It will get more specific.

My pins! Oh, man. I used to wear pins every single day. I would match them to my outfits and yeah. . . I still love them. I think there's about 200 in the bowl.

Part the first: In the wee bowl, I have bobby pins and hair ties. Dorky Office wares, a teeny tiny yellow Nissan X-Terra and (surprise) a picture! Also, a giant K because. . .well, Kacie.

My Golden State Warriors schedule, a Schrute Buck, one of my favorite photos -- from under the Golden Gate Bridge in SF. Box with business cards and shit in it, a star ornament that I stole from Borders (whoops!), and a magnet that a friend gave me. It says "she was nothing but a man-chasing booze hound. Why can't you be more like her?" I am CLASSY.

My monkey frame. It is empty and will remain empty until there is a picture of me hugging a monkey in it. YES. A trophy from one of my birthdays. I can't really explain why I have that without getting into a LONG complicated story. Febreeze in the back. And my pink pumpkin. Not only does it keep Halloween around all year long, it's also where I keep condoms. Also, in my wilder days, weed.

The rest of the desk.

My shelf of awesome. Featuring: my FAVORITE photo -- Kari and I guest bartending at our favorite bar before it closed. A wee black cat and a tiny pirate devil duck, a pirate figurine that was an awesome gift from a close friend. A big pirate devil duck and another wee one,

a short cup from Starbucks with my favorite "The Way I See It" on it -- "Love wins." Two elephant figurines that belonged to my grandmother. She collected elephants and I'm pretty sure she had over 100. The Dwight stress ball, the little red box in the back has movie ticket stubs in it from the last 10 years or so, a hand painted vase, a red stone heart and in the heart shaped frame, a picture of my boyfriend. Maybe you know him. His name is John.

Various office supplies in the pink basket, my wand, a deck of cocktail foods, 2 cocktail decks (summer and holiday), crayons (what?), address book, friendship bracelet making kit, card box that I covered with band stickers and merch. Curious George and Phil the Groundhog.

envelopes, Bartholomew the bear, my pod speakers and a photo.

The TV watching in bed view.

Would you like to play a game?

Oh man. That took forever.
