So rumor has it Jun-kun and I got married. Heard whisperings about it at some point. At any rate, if you happened to make it to the ceremony (and even if you didn't), thank you. Your friendship and support mean a lot to us ( Read more... )

That Magnemite of yours is a menace.

Admit it, you like him.

Well. He'll be useful if we ever forget to pay our electric bill. Until then, all he's good for is messing up my hair and getting everyone else riled up.

Don't say that. He does it because he likes you.

Pokemon can have jobs?

I don't even know if they can! Kamenashi-kun's Pokemon has done modelling before, but that's when he was with her to be her guardian. I wonder if Bonsly and Bayleef are just anxious and want to get out of the condo.

They could be. It is nice to be outside after all.

Or maybe they could just use a change in scenery. They haven't been to your place yet, have they? Would I be able to drop them off with you on your next day off?

Is it dangerous to let your pokemon get a job somewhere else?

Reply

ourcityscape July 14 2010, 01:44:04 UTC
Well, I'm just not used to having them out of my sight when I don't know what they're up to. You mentioned it yourself in your entry -- there are a bunch of scummy people out there who'll try to take advantage of Pokemon by setting up traps or lying. It'd just make me feel better knowing that they're someplace safe.

Yeah, I think I'd be too nervous to let them work somewhere other than where I was. Mine help out at the Florist's with me, so maybe I'm keeping them busy enough, but it sounds kind of... I don't know, dangerous. But maybe it's like letting your kid go off to elementary school for the first time or something.

You can't really be sure what's legitimate around here unless you're actually there to experience it. I definitely hear you on the elementary school thing, though. They grow up so fast, don't they?

It was a lovely wedding, thanks for inviting me. I don't know why it seems you're happier about the money more than the marriage... but that can't be right.

I'm happy about both, obviously. But it's obvious that I'm happy about the marriage, so I chose to focus on the money.

See, I don't know if they can. They can definitely help out at jobs that their trainers have, but I don't know if they can get their own jobs. What would a Pokemon job be anyway?

Yeah, that must be it. I know you love money but you love Matsujun-kun more. I must have misread it...

Chansey seems to have a job and Nurse Joy's not really her trainer... would you trust your Pokemon in the medical profession? You could always just get work with them.

Medical profession might work. But I get the feeling it's a trade profession, something that Chansey are adept at doing. I don't know what Bonsly and Bayleef would be able to do.

The wedding was great, thanks for letting me share that day with you. I wish you guys the best!

Congrats on the hustlin'..it's pretty easy to do in Pokeland.

I left the kid's DS at the Pokecenter if you ever want a spare one or if you want to get one so you and Matsumoto-senpai can play together or something...I don't know. It's yours- the kid wanted to play with the rock samples instead.

Can Pokemon get jobs? Chibimaru likes being a hat stand...

Thanks for coming, and for keeping the kid occupied. Though I guess he isn't old enough to appreciate the fine art of video games. Eh, his loss.

Heh, somehow Chibimaru strikes me as a Pokemon who'd be a great hat stand. Though I think they already have hat stands that do the same kind of thing...

No problem- it was nice to see everybody again.

He's a good kid but has different hobbies. I played for it for awhile, but I may have bought my own in a different colour >.>;; That damn farming game is addictive!

Chibimaru is a fabulous hat-stand...I'm not sure what else the others can do. Cleffa is like a hyperactive two year-old so the chances of her succeeding at employment are slim, and Mareep is well, a Mareep. Bellossom might be good at something, but I'm not sure yet.
