you dont realise how much you need him.
the way he smiles to you after practice, the way his arms snake around your tiny waist, the way his eyes scrunch up when he pulls you in for his kisses. you need his laughter, his warmth, you need his touch and his body, you need the comfort of knowing that he is somewhere close by.
you dont know why but when you dont see him for days, you begin to go a bit crazy.
it happened once and once was all it took. he had to go away, god knows why, but he did and you didnt know. you went crazy. batshit!ryeowook crazy. throwing things, shouting incoherent words in both korean and english, even going as far as hitting eeteuk when he wouldnt tell you anything. and than he came home, in all his immaculate glory, and you fling yourself at him, full body, and drown him in your arms.
you dont know why, but he makes you do things you dont normally do.
whether it be talking randomly during an interview, a couple glance during a performance or just a stupid dare in the dorm, with the curve of his lips and the deep chuckle of his voice you do the most stupidest thing. they laugh, and they tease but you think to yourself, its all worth it.
you do realise however, that its all a secret.
the secret smiles. those heart-wrenching kisses. the fasten-paced of your breath when he is around. the delicate hugs. the late night phone calls. the clandestine meetings. the midnight walks. all of it. the little, and big things, that are shared between the two of you and just the two of you.
and you dont care. not one little bit.
you clench and grasp and hold onto whatever this is, this bond that the two of you share, this unannounced connection, this secret relationship because its all you have. theres no ring or paper to prove that its real. theres no witnesses. theres nothing to prove the love you hold for this person and there is no proof he holds the love back.
but he does and even though you lay awake late at night worrying about it, he does.
