I went to the bookfair yesterday, my yearly pilgrimage. I was hoping I could find some stylebooks and theory books, but damn, those things were expensive. Unluckily for me, I got mugged the other day so my budget for books was slashed by half. (Next time, daydream less during train rides and damn you, thieves!) Anyhow, since I don't plan on eating

The first two books you got are great (I haven't read the third!). I was reading The Stars My Destination in work once, and this lovely old woman asked me whether it was an astrology book!

Just curious, though -- which station did the culprits get off at?
And on a lighter note... Is Me & Mr. Darcy the one structured like a Choose Your Own Adventure book? That one looked waaay fun, based on premise alone, though I doubt I'd get all the references. (But then again, I get excited about just about *everything* that attempts to collapse distincitons between 'pop' and 'classics' or 'high' culture -- and especially using a format that was so dear to me, as a kid.)
I'm curious what you think of it.
