Hey, don't believe the hype. :) We can be pretty elementary with our questions. And I hope you enjoy Oscar and Lucinda!

Sounds like a dinner party worth going to! Sorry for asking you question 4, it IS really hard! But your answer was insightful. I've never read Peter Carey would you believe, but I shall put him on my list. The Bell Jar was a huge influence on me too, I remember reading it for the first time so vividly.
