I'm hoping it won't be as bad as they say either! It looks as though where I live may be lucky now and escape the very high winds but even so, power cuts I dread as hubbie's bed and chair relies on power and as I'm up half the night with him, trying to get up and down stairs and deal with him in darkness with just a candle / solar lantern will be hard work. :(
