jen posted her top 5 favorite songs, and it seems like a great idea right now, so,
however, they are in no particular order, just my top 5:
i turn my camera on - spoon
i cannot get over this song, it is so great.
also i'm not going to tell you the context in which i first heard it that makes it so great.
the last high - the dandy warhols
i just barely got into the dandy warhols and i am thinking WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER.
they're amazing, this song is sweet and sad, it's fantastic.
another devil dies - badly drawn boy
i don't know why this song gets me so good, but here are the first few lyrics:
well your face still makes my day
just like it did in the past
when you turned me away
i kept coming back for more
i don't know, i just love it. so much.
your hand in mine - explosions in the sky
completely instrumental, and i've never heard anything that so completely honestly feels like the good part of a relationship and perfect. perfect perfect perfect. i have left it on repeat for upwards of 10 hours before.
jane fonda - mickey avalon
i'll admit it, a big part of why i love this song so much is because josh schwartz is the one who introduced it to me. but still! it's a great song.
1, 2, 3, 4,
get your booty on the dance floor
work it out, shake it little mama
let me see you do the jane fonda
