I don't even think I have an analogy for that. A lot of it I would rather forget, but mostly because I really don't know or care that much about personal business.

Let's just stick to what we know- rejection, repression and...well, whatever it is that you do to cope that doesn't involve sharing. [He turns the camera on and his room is completely ( Read more... )

[Rex's head was still throbbing, but overall, he was feeling much better and more... together than he was when he was brought into the infirmary. He wanted to leave, but-- well, there was his new warden.]

I didn't start it.

[Capa didn't really look impressed with it all.] I didn't say that you did. How are you feeling?

Aside from the splitting headache? Fine.

[He shrugged.] That's to be expected. Tell me what happened? [He phrased it as a question, as he wasn't even sure if Rex wanted to bring it up. Capa was pretty good about being mostly hands off when it came to things like this, but he really did care about it.]

All right.

Would asking about the theory damage your experimental conditions?

It would. But I only thought it fair to bring up the reasons behind the offer.

Name the time.

And I can stand to have a little mystery in my life.

Let's say eight.

Meet me at the pub. I'll let you in.

[And so at eight, he was waiting, wondering what the hell he was actually doing. It didn't seem strange, but it wasn't...normal behavior for him, either.]

From what Mark's said, Buffy while under the influence of the flood admitted that during the breach event that she'd been sexually assaulted by the person whom Mark was at the time.

Mark then went to the showers to cool off, and he saw Rex there. Rex then told him that he still had the rapist in him, and Mark demanded an apology. From there Rex hit him and the fight escalated from there.

Did he mention the conversation they had prior to that?

No, but I read it after the fact, of course. I believe Mark when he said that he'd gone to shower to cool off and not to find Rex.

And the fact that he failed to mention what he said to Rex, and what Rex said to him, at first doesn't seem suspicious?

I have a question for you. It's about Snape.

What is it?

Do you think he's dangerous? He apparently has a great deal of power, but he seems to spend all his time rambling and pursuing bizarre experiments. Not to mention that fact that he seems to hate everyone who isn't his wife. I'm not entirely convinced that he's stable.

He's probably not. But you have to remember that he's also a reformed inmate, so his standards are different than most.
