Yeah, but there are all sorts of stupid laws that I don't give a shit about so long as I don't get arrested for breaking them. THe government is always sticking its ass where it doesn't belong imo. Honestly, the only logical things I can think of are that the smoke can make you stink like smoke (but won't neccessarily always) and it could stain your teeth which looks gross. I'm trying to be more tolerent and open-minded towards things like pot, mainly because I have friends that do it and that's making me realize that pot doesn't make you a bad person. I'll drink socially so long as I don't have to drive home. That said, I still doubt I'll be trying it anytime soon (and if I ever do, James, feel free to rant at me and talk me out of it). Neither one is really that bad if its done socially and in moderation though. The main thing to me is to avoid doing such things because you're depressed or on a regular enough basis to get addicted.

The drug known as "marijuana" has no black out, im not saying you dont do or say stupid things like "i forgot what we were doing", you do lose most of your motor skills, and you cant really thing straight (this goes for both weed and hooch), unlike alcohol, you can't get THC poisening, and the drug is only addictive cause you wanna feel the tingly sensation, also they both have names for people who are addicted "potheads and alcoholics", for the carcingen part, thats a risk we take. also, 1 and 3 drivers found DWI'ing, are under the influence of "ganje", the others are alcohol, 4 out of 10 car accidents are alcohol related not weed related. people have diffrent view on the drug this i know, but people are also vehemently opposed to drinking, cause of the facts stated above. Not saying that the hash is better, just saying we all have points to make other things seem better, when in all actuality they are both quite, quite dangerous. on that note, SSSHHHHHHHHHH, bitches

personally, i don't think either is a problem until you're putting other people's health at risk. that happens much more often with alcohol than pot. i don't really view my own health as a factor because i'm not really concerned with how long i live. simply that i enjoy the time while i'm here. which is why anyone that catches me being depressed should tell me "if you're not enjoying yourself, what's the point?"
though i wouldn't say my seemingly random bouts of minor depression are completely without merit. they make me enjoy the times when i'm not depressed that much more. anyway... i'm rambling and i've digressed horribly.
alcohol... pot... i'd rather be smoking, but that's just me. you don't like pot? hand me a drink then. we'll get fucked up and have a good time. you'll probably be paying for it in the morning though.

Alright. I've been waiting for this so I suppose I should make it more than a load of bullshyat. First of all, for the record, I'd like to state that abusing anything, weed, alcohol, friends, love, neighbors, is normally unhealthy in the first place. Having placed my caution sign, I'll continue. I'm not quite sure if this is personal preference but maybe someone can decide for me when I'm done. I guess its the way people act when their high, and because of it, how they act when they aren't. The stoner tradition is glorified by those who do it, and most don't tend to realize how moronic they look. Listening to "stoner music" because you like to get high is bullshit. Get a life. It's not a lifestyle, it's a mental addiction. People who smoke tend to fiend. Honestly, I never get that "urge" to get smashed. I'm sorry, I just don't. But when someone reeeeally wants to get high, you'll drive all across the beach looking for that dealer. C'mon, if its that much trouble, there's probably something better you can do. Oh right,

the only real argument i have here is that it's not the substance that gets people addicted. it's people that get addicted to feelings. some people get just as attached to their computers or video games. we just don't consider this as much of a problem. there are, however, people that live with their parents their entire lives and rarely leave the comfort of their computer chairs. it's things that make us feel good or not at all

What about "If im not making other people uncomfortable whats the point?" cuz thats exactly the same thign with smoking weed. Or why not drop out of school, buy a gun, a bullet, and all the cocaine you can afford. Then just get krunked until you run out then shoot yourself. Thats a great way to look at life.

no, i don't think that's a little selfish. i think it's a lot selfish. essentially, though, i don't care. i'm not going out of my way to please other people if it's not making me happy anymore. a lot of the time it makes me unhappy to bend over backwards for people. and my smoking weed does not make everyone uncomfortable. it makes some people uncomfortable, but that isn't my problem. it's theirs. you see, life is really selfish. i'm only nice to most people when they're upset because i'd feel bad about myself if i didn't. that's pretty selfish if you look at it right. just like everything else. i may not enjoy school all the time, but i enjoy parts of it and am willing to take the good with the bad. oh and i said i'm not taking my health into consideration. that's not entirely true. i'm not trying to kill myself so i'm not about to try coke, but i'm also not going to be all health conscientious. you make more people uncomfortable with your vehement but baseless disapproval for something they enjoy than i do by smoking
