anemia....you can try cooking in cast iron--especially acidic foods like applesauce (you can just heat up and cool it again) or tomatoe sauce with meatballs. buffalo meat is much higher in iron too. Heme iron (i.e. from animals) is much more absorable/usable and much less stomach cramping than non-heme (i.e. elemental) iron. add orange juice (vit C) to help absorb. so, tomatoe suace and buffalo meatballs cooked in cast iron with a glass of orange juice! I want to cook this for you and send it!
