I'm glad both the kids are doing so well! How exciting to have a third one coming...soon you and Kyle will be outnumbered! I always thought I would like to have many children, but now that I have two, I can't imagine trying to handle more than that. I'm a little sad that I won't be giving my kids the sibling experience that I had, though. As one of four, I loved how there was always someone around to hang out with.

The fact that we will be outnumbered is quite daunting. Right now we have a good balance and Kyle and I can divide and conquer when it comes to the kids. I am anxious to see how throwing another child into the scene will change our dynamics...

I somehow thought that you were going to have more as well. Has the final decision been made for you guys to stop at 2?

Number 3 really is a blessing! Don't worry about what you havent done. You will love this baby is a way that is complete and full, and will sometimes have you feeling guilty that number 1 and 2 didn't benefit from such a love. *Despite* the fact that number 3 is so often an afterthought in a busy life. I used to be wracked by guilt the times I would wack Lily's head on the wall, trying to nurse her while running after my first two. It will all work out, and you will see how well this baby will fit into your lives, like s/he was always meant to be there. I can't wait to "meet" this little person!

I have that same vision of trying to nurse baby 3 while actually having to run after one of the other two... Good to know that Lily's head survived wacks by accident :)

Thanks for updating! I didn't realize you wanted to be surprised by the sex of the baby. You have most everything you need either way, no need to overprepare, right? I'm thinking of you and sending recovery vibes from nausea...thanks again for piping up after such a long time. Looking forward to the other kiddos' updates.

We actually don't have anything baby. We weren't planning for this #3, so we have NO baby clothes and all of our baby stuff was given away/sold. We are now collecting a few things all over again-- going for used stuff that I can just give away or sell again quickly once the babe is done with it. Now I know I don't need shiny and new and we certainly don't need all the bells and whistles...

At the time we had our ultrasound, they weren't telling the sex at the ultrasound. That changed a few days later, as of July 1st they will now write it in your report for your midwife or doctor to reveal... But Kyle really wants us to do the surprise thing this time... Let me tell you, it is VERY challenging!

It stinks that you are still feeling sick.. only a few more months left (especially if baby comes early again). I hope everything is OK with your placenta and baby continues to grow well...
