lunar eclipse

I woke at 3:05am and went out to the backyard to join Laurel watching the eclipse. At that point the moon was entirely red. After about a half-hour, she went back inside, to bed. I stayed out until about a quarter of it re-appeared. It was very nice to sit out in the near-quiet and the chill and to think.

So that's what that was about. I was told it was at 2, which means I saw a tiny corner of the moon blotted out around 2:15 or so, assumed I had missed it and went back to my room.
