I'm very grateful I am not now where I was a year ago. Whoop de do. Maybe now I can use this as some initiative to move forward with my life and myself. (meh)... I'm freezing my ass off right now but what I would kill for a swimming pool or an ocean. Perfect time for it too ( Read more... )

*grin* and don't I know it...
yeah, I'm trying to march forward--even though it feels like I don't always know where forward is and for all I know I'm going ass backwards...
...in other words,
Yes Ma'am!

Ocean water at night is the greatest thing in the world--Orlando is just too centered.

Is that your little tidbit at the bottom there, or are you quoting someone?

That's Farewell and Goodnight by the Smashing Pumpkins off of Mellon Collie.

:) The ocean is the best at night--or it can be at least. The last time I was by the ocean was in south beach at night with my friends Brian and Ariel (funny coincidence here) and I had no shoes with me (the ones that i left in brian's car). So Brian gave me a piggy back ride with me in beach clothes, the both of us looking freakishly out of place, and when we got there the water was so still, all the way to the horizon. and freezing. it was wonderful. and we could see the stars (or as much as you can over there) and we could see perfectly through the water, while we were swimming.

that was a great night at the beach. Much better than yesterday (or at least the swimming). I was about to go in and i was like "Hey what are all these pretty blue glass thingies on shore?" There had to be tens of thousands..... and you know what they were? Baby man of wars! Yay, no swimming for Brian lol.

Ha! I will!
You should see what I did to my watch too! The band broke so i took the watch itself and made 16-guage galvanized steel chainmail band around it! One that I need pliers to take off lol. and it smells interesting, even as I type this...It's so fucking ghetto--I mean, resourceful. (mostly bc it was originally something along the lines of a $12 watch, which now has this chainmail band around it...)
