Epiphany Time, plus Lee Goldberg Book

I had a shitload of epiphanies today. Most of them... if I share them, I kind of defeat the purpose of having them - because it would only get me involved in more drama. For those of you I trust, feel free to e-mail or IM me and I'll be glad to share. But let's just say that I'm better than spouting all this shit; I'm going to suffer fools ( Read more... )

Hurray for epiphanies!

Y'know, the Monk books are good, but they're really good in small doses. I read three and enjoyed them, and I think I'm done for a while. It gets overwhelming, but Goldberg is a damned fine writer. I should hunt up more of his stuff...

OMG, yes for them! I am going to be better because of them. I really am. I was so not-Vulcan-y today but this got me right back on track.

I understand that. Like I said, I'm not a fan of the first person POV in general. Abbs does it to perfection. A couple writers/stories, I appreciate it in. But not in general. Goldberg I will try despite the first because this book was so bloody hilarious! Goldberg's Charlie Wilson series - starts with My Gun Has Bullets, and then went on to Beyond the Beyond - is out of print, but well worth looking into. I think I'm going to read the first, even though I only gave BtB a shot because of the ST bent, and it was so inexpensive.

Glad to hear things continue to go well for you. I'm interested in hearing about your epiphanies, if you want to IM or email me about them.

Now you know. And knowing is half the battle. Plus, as much as I try to keep from being amused - I am. I am so very, very much amused that I just pieced that together. Will try to squash the emotion.

You're human so it's only natural to have those feelings.

Yes, I know... but... it's so... human of me O_O

I'm even considering giving up meat, now. And I love my meat! Mmm. Bacon. Shrimp. Burgers... (I've also stopped getting as hungry lately.)
