Character info
Series/Fandom: Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
Character's Name: Usagi Tsukino
Character's Sex: Female
Character's Age: 16
Canon point: Post - Stars before the timeskip.
Abilities:

In her normal state, Usagi's pretty much a normal teenager. She doesn't have many attributes that makes her stand out. The only thing that she's got going for her is that in a heightened state of alert, she can sense where her friends are if they're within a reasonable distance from her.

Magical Items:

Moon Chalice: When she is ready to fight, she calls out "Silver Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!" and the golden chalice appears. It gives her the power to transform into her Eternal Moon Form. Nestled at the top of the stand with larger wings that replicate the wings on her brooch is a clear crystal orb that shimmers with white light when activated.

Maboroshi no Ginzuisho: Also known as the Silver Crystal. Passed down from generation to generation, this is Usagi's birthright as the Princess of the Moon. It has the power to banish the evil that may threaten the galaxy, rejuvenate the wounded from battle and at its highest power destroy whole worlds. The price one pays for using as much power from the Silver Crystal is their life, but it is the turning point in any battle and most enemies strive to attain it to win. Obviously, Usagi will not be able to use the Crystal to its fullest potential in Star Kingdom. (Not that her senshi would allow her to anyway. They like their Princess well... not dead. :|) But, in all retrospect the most she'll ever use it is to heal individuals or a small group of people.

Moon Pen: To the regular person, it looks just like an ordinary pen. But when she calls out, "MOON POWER, TRANSFORM ME INTO..." then it invokes the power to change her appearance to fit that she wants to be. Like say for instance, if she wants to dress up as a doctor she can. Or if she needs to infiltrate another school, she can use it to give her that schools' uniform. The disguises are endless.

Once she's transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon, she can run faster, jump higher, sprout wings and fly through space. (It's how she's able to get from Earth to the center of the universe in canon!) She can also attack her enemies with white magicesque equivalent spells.

Attack Powers:

Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss: This is the first attack power Sailor Moon receives in her Eternal Form. Light based, it has a purification light that "cleanses" her enemies of the darkness / evil within them.

Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss: A much stronger version of the aforementioned power above.

Her hair ornaments act as sound amplifiers. In the first act of the manga, when she's transformed for the first time she starts whining and crying and her red hair ornaments on her odangos reverberated the cry causing the monster of the day to be stunned by the ear piercing cry.

The staff that Eternal Sailor Moon can call upon when she's transformed is called the Eternal Tier. It's what she focuses all her power into so she can attack effectively.

Strengths: Usagi is powered by love, determination and most of all hope. As part of the senshi her biggest contribution is that she is able to "heal" their enemies. She's able to hold her own obviously -- all the senshi are, but her love for everything and everyone + her determination to see everything end in the best way possible are the reasons she's considered the strongest and most powerful senshi in the entire universe. She's very optimistic when it comes to the outcome of battles, almost unrealistically depending on the situation. But it's what gives everyone hope and that's really what she's there for: to give hope and to pave the way for a peaceful future.

Weaknesses: Usagi has never been good at being the main source of brute strength, brains, focus and prowess like her senshi are. She's always being protected by those she loves and cares for. Which is why her greatest weakness is the safety and well being of her friends. Her greatest love is her greatest vice because she loses her mental stability and automatically clings to her friends / peace / future if it's in jeopardy. She may pave the way for the future but if she doesn't have anyone or anything to guide her she's emotionally lost.

Background: General History || Character Information ||
Appearance: Princess Serenity || Usagi Tsukino (She's the one at the top!) || Eternal Sailor Moon

Personality: In the beginning of the series, Usagi is just your normal teenage girl. She's boy crazy, enjoys sweets and likes to whine about the things she doesn't have rather than cherish the things she does. She's also extremely lazy when it comes to any kind of work and would rather pig out at the Crown Parlor than do chores around the house. She's easy to make friends with as she does have a pretty easy going personality and a spark that seems to attract all her friends to her. She is also very easily excitable. Sometimes she doesn't really notice when she's imposing when it comes to fun and if she's fully immersed in something she's enjoying, it might take a swift kick in the back end or a good scolding to get her to realize she's being annoying.

But as it goes, throwing an innocent into battle changes them; for good or for bad.

It takes her a few tries to realize that her becoming a senshi isn't just a very bad dream, but she soon accepts it as reality and it's enough to kick start her brain into gear. Battle after battle, she's becomes a little more mature, a little more serious about saving the world. But it's when she finds out that /SHE/ is the person that she and her friends have been searching for, that things get real.

She, the Moon Princess, is the last heir to the fallen moon kingdom and the only one who can destroy the Dark Kingdom before it takes over Earth. It's not something she swallows very easily. She actually misses a few days of school because of all the stress she's going through but, it's because of her friends that she's able to stand on her two feet and keep going. In battle, as long as she has the support of her all her loved ones she can accomplish just about anything she puts her heart to.

During the series, it's a gradual thing where she matures bit by bit but she still retains her childish features. All throughout everything happening to her, she still clings to her happy ending. Her Prince and future husband. Her future daughter and a future of peace. Usagi is willing to fight for what she believes in and that usually revolves around protecting the innocent of earth, and giving them their choice to live as they choose.

You see this especially in the battles between the Death Phantom, Pharaoh 90, Queen Nehelenia, Galaxia and Chaos that no matter what battle, she protects the sanctity of the past, the importance of the present and the dream of the future by stepping up into the line of fire and facing her foes head on.

To make things short and sweet; This girl is energetic and bubbly. She loves making friends with people and while she has a tendency to urge people to do the things that she wants to do, she only has everyone's interests at heart and would never do anything to hurt anyone intentionally. She's a kind-hearted person who will go out of her way to make someone happy. She's protective of everyone, people close to her and people she has never met and will give anything and everything to make sure that they were safe and alive. No one's life is more important than the other and she's willing to give her life time and time again for their happiness.

Strengths: Usagi has an uncanny ability to make people happy whether it be by her almost naive way of thinking or the silly little things she does. Her happiness is everyone's happiness and vice versa. She always tries to find a balance between struggles because she better than anyone knows that darkness and light always coincide and even at the end of a battle, she's still able to find the light at the end of the tunnel -- because she knows that if she has her friends then everything will be alright. She does not judge anyone by just appearance; in fact, it's stated in canon that Usagi loves everyone and everything. As such, she offers redemption to whoever wants it. She's unbelievably loyal and will go through hell or high water, doing whatever it takes for them.

She's also very good at video games and eating just about anything as long as it doesn't have carrots in it.

Weaknesses: Positive as she is, Usagi can become irrational at the most inopportune times. It's hard for her to think logical and the majority of the time it takes an outside source to bring her back to what should be most important. She's very childish and easy to fool. All it could take is to see an image of her friends in trouble and she'll go running without a second thought of it being a trap. She follows her emotions and that leads her straight into trouble, causing the senshi to have to protect her and place themselves in the line of fire.

Usagi is terrible at studying unless she has no choice. She also can't cook very well; it's in the interest of her and everyone around if they were supervising her and or keeping her out of the kitchen period. If she sees something that she wants? She'll beg and whine until she gets it or has her attentions directed at something else. It makes her look less mature than she can be.

Samples

Action/Journal Sample:

[ Somehow in transit, the audio feed managed to click on. There's not much noise; the only thing really heard is the sound of rubbing cloth signifying that someone is shifting around until the sound of the room changes. It echoes ever so slightly. Perhaps it's the bathroom or the kitchen? ]

Ehehehe~

[ .. And that quiet and muted laugh would be the sound of a mischievous moon rabbit if one were acquainted with her. She smacks her hands together, rubbing vigorously; a testament to her sneaky nature. ]

Mmmm~! I can't wait to get some of that sea salt ice cream! [ The sound of the freezer door is heard opening. ] I'm sure the girls won't mind if I take just a little bi-- [ Her voice cuts out and for a few beats there's silence. Soon there's a frustrated scream and after fumbling with the device, the video feed turns on and immediately, it's the face of a commedically angry Usagi, not caring if she gives her secret mission to eat sweets before dinner away. ]

WHO ATE ALL THE SEA SALT ICE CREAM!?

RP Sample: Everyone has sides to them -- facets to their personality that, depending on who or is or isn't around, are easily seen. Right now, Usagi was alone. The only thing that kept her company was the sound of the ocean waves that gently brushed against the beach of Destiny Islands and the moon (not her moon) hanging in the sky. She had managed to leave the school premise undetected, which for her was a feat and now that she had a time to think -- she found that her new founded and temporary freedom was the least of her worries.

The world she knew and loved was gone. Her family and her friends had been on Earth when the Darkness attacked. She could clearly hear them in her head when the heartless had attacked her home. Chaos couldn't have been reborn that quickly -- not when she had seen to it personally that he had been broken into pieces inside of the Galaxy Cauldron. When thinking to how the Ginzuishou hadn't been able to ward off the invaders, she clutched the gem tightly in her hand, feeling the warmth that emitted in reaction to the turmoil in her heart.

No one in her family had been saved. Only her. She felt almost as useless as she did when Galaxia and her Sailor Animates had killed every single one of her friends in front of her and that feeling of being alone and unable protect was the worst feeling to relive.

The moon rabbit wasn't exactly sure how long she sat there where the beach and the grass began blending there, but her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of something dropping with a light thump next to her.

A startled yelp caused Usagi to jump from her spot on the ground and shift about two feet away from where the noise came from. Moments passed and hesitantly, her eyes peered over wondering what had caused such a noise. It was a paopu fruit half buried in the sand from it's high perch in the tree close by. Shifting closer, she picks up the fresh fruit, dusting off the particles of sand to fully look at it in the moonlight.

It was a star. Yellow in color with two green leaves poking out from the broken off branch it had fallen from. Hadn't she heard people talking in the school about if you fed it to someone they'd be in each others lives forever? Usagi lets the thought settle in her head as she starts looking for more that may have fallen from the tree. It takes her awhile, but she manages to find ten fruits, one to give to each of her senshi. It didn't matter that they hadn't all shown up here together; once they showed up she'd give each of them one and it made her smile happily at her accomplishment of finding more ways to keep them all connected.

It's the first smile she's smiled all night.
