For the chickens, that is. One more week and I'll be in the midst of butchering time. Can't say I'm especially looking forward to it - it's a lot of work. But it *will* be nice to not have the morning/evening meat chicken chores for awhile. And I pre-sold about half the batch this time, so it'll be chicken-pay-day upon delivery! Yay!

Happy First Mother's Day! It was really lovely - I got pizza for dinner (shaddup - I wanted it!!), and a new set of gardening tools (a big scoop trowel, a smaller planting trowel, and a totally wicked weeder that looks like something from a horror movie!) Lilli's in Mt. Alvernia, starting June 1st!!!!!! I can't even begin to tell you all how much of a relief this is! Like giant-boulder-off-my-shoulders kind of relief!

It's a beautiful center, the only possible downside is that it's got more kids. 20 babies, but 8 teachers, so the ratio is excellent.
