This is the answers for my RPG/story character, Nadja Maharat, a Nubian Warrior.

I'm 5'10", brown eyes, black hair, dark brown skin. I am the Senior Centurion of Legion 14 in Cohort III of the Calracian Republic. This is a really broad question. There are not enough words I can think of in this tongue to describe myself.
4. Describe your mate (if applicable)
Italicus is not my mate...but he is an interest. The man is eleven years my junior but despite the difference of age I harbor affection for him above the rest of my soldiers. He is a few inches shorter than me, with short, chocolate colored hair and chestnut colored eyes. His skin is sun kissed. His smile causes my heart to thunder nearly out of my chest. He is a treasure...I only wish I could tell him that without sounding like some lovestruck imbecile.
5. Where (and when) do you live?
I live in the Calracian Republic right now but am originally from Nubia. The year is of the reign of Ancient Rome.
6. What's your favourite sweet? (It is so a basic!)
I am fond of sugar dates.

What is your favourite...
1. Season?
Back home we have two seasons: the rainy season and the dry season. I prefer the first. I love the sound of rain against armor, though riding in the rain while encased in armor is another situation entirely.
2. Food?
Roasted lamb and duck soup. This will most definitely change as i sample more and more of the foods of my new home.
3. Animal?
Horse. I love the power they possess. I had a steed once, his name was Uupuat. Sadly, he was slain during the war with Tritessia.
4. Colour?
The color of grass during midsummer. The deep green of the steppes as winde ripples across the expanse. It is indeed a riveting colour.
5. Time of day?
Twilight. I often take walks in the fields during the night. I used to ride Uupuat through there but going on foot suits me fine as well.
6. Weapon?
My scimitar, which my brother Dukua had fashioned for me when he felt I was ready to wield it.

Tell us about...
1. Your place of birth.
I was born in a small valley village in Nubia, during the times Egypt's Empire was spreading. I don't remember much except being fascinated with the warriors and how my brother trained them. I think I took completely after him.
2. Your childhood.
I am convinced I was born a warrior because the moment I was able to walk and talk I was drawn to weapons and warfare like a moth to flame. Though I was never incinerated. Instead, my brother volunteered to train me so that I may one day defend my family should something happen to him. My mother was linient but my sister loathed the idea that I wanted to be a warrior instead of a housewife. Nevertheless, I continued my training right on into when the Romans invaded our land. After that...I...well...that's another story. =D
3. Your parents.
I never knew my father. My mother is still alive, however, she is very ill and can barely communicate on a normal level.
4. Your siblings.
I am the youngest of three. I have an older sister and an older brother. My brother passed away when I was in my teens, my sister still resides in Nubia with her two children.
5. Your (current) home.
The Calracian Republic? I could ask for nothing better outside of Nubian borders.
6. Your favourite "hang out".
I enjoy lounging in the bathhouse with my friends Leola and Zembrius. Sometimes I am often alone in the fields wandering, or on the shores listening to the roar of waves crashing down upon the sand or diving into the ocean to purge my body for the day...

Yes. It is a task I've come to enjoy.

Yes though it is not as enjoyable as reading.

What's the worst thing that's ever happened to you?
A long time ago, someone traded their life for mine when I was a prisoner of war. It was my sister's husband.

Italicus...as well as the rest of Calracia.
Who is your worst enemy?
I don't have one. I would have to say myself. I am constantly having interior conflict with my emotions.
Who is your best friend?
I think the closest I've come to best friends here is Zembrius and Leola. I can confide in them without worrying about ridicule or scorn.

I rise with the sun. Always.
What's the first thing you do upon waking?
The cool breeze through the window.

Yes.
What is your typical morning like?
I get up, have breakfast, do some training and conditioning, then back to Fort Liberalis to train my men. Afterwards is strictly impromtue.

Smart?
In warfare and common sense. When it comesto matters of the heart...I'm about as green as a new recruit.

I think I can be but I find myself pretty humble most of the time.

I don't find my looks to be something to be written down in the history books but I am not a hideous creature either.

If the situation calls for it.

Most of the time.
Dangerous?
On the battlefield? I am lethal. Other than that, I am of no threat unless provoked.

A scimitar injury. It curves from the side of my right knee and end at the back of the middle of my thigh. Also one of my calf from the recent war with Tritessia. Then there is my back which has faint scars from the whip...we'll leave it at that.

Have you ever broken any bones?
No. I've fractured my right forearm though.

I believe in several deities.

Unless there is a special occassion at hand, no.

Usually just marriage, war victory, funerals, and when a girl first loses her virginity. The wedding night is a right of passage.

Envy has brought down many strong empires. Though if I did envy anyone it would be Leola. She is so beautiful. She does not have the harshness that comes with being a soldier. Then again, she's no soldier and she is nearly eleven years my junior so there is no point in my envying her youth. I had my time.

Hurting someone innocent, dying a painful death, losing the people I love.

I was stressed. Playing executioner of a treasonous bastard then proceeding to calm down a riot via slaying the people you swore to protect will do that to you.
What was the worst pain you've experienced?
That's better left unsaid.

Stomach infection. Injuries are easily toned down with ether but...that virus was terrible.
