Wow. I just happened to remember. Today is the anniversary of the day I got clean. 24 years clean. I was 24 when I stopped using. Kind of awesome.

Whenever I hear someone declare how long they've been clean and/or sober, I'm so inspired. I'm thankful I haven't had to struggle with addiction myself and I'm proud of them for keeping that demon in its little box for so long.
