I promised I'd post this entry so here it is.
Visting Naples:Our first day in Florida was really rainy and all we ended up doing was going to the mall after adjusting to the eastern time zone, so I didn't take any pictures. The second day, we drove from Orlando to my mom's condominium. Which is pretty nice and surprisingly spacious. I probably ( Read more... )

I went to see the space stuff in the smithsonian and they had like all these old like space ships and stuff, I looked at some of it and it was like "This stuff goes into space? X__X" like some of it looked like a craft project, I think it was a recreation, lol, but still! XD That VIP lounge is awesome! It looks like something out of cocoon (play FFXIII yet?) sorry, I'm on a huge FFXIII kick, lol. The magic led lightcube is really cool! I know they probably aren't that hard to find, why doesn't a restaurant do something like that around here? We get nothing cool! XD

Sorry for the seriously delayed reply. Oh yeah I've been there before! It's definitely the real deal from the Apollo missions. Did you have a good time? You know, I still haven't played FFXIII, I take it it's a lot of fun? :) Yeah, isn't that ice cube cool? Marissa uses it at work to get people's attention.

Is there a battery in your shiny drink?!

Thanks for posting pics! The Siemens lounge is sweet, wonder why they decided to keep the cost of maintaing something like that of all things? Unless they have a deal with Disney, or a large campus nearby and lots of employees go there?

The X-37 is an unmanned spacecraft, replacement for human spaceflight is supposed to be the Orion spacecraft, but the Obama administration is axing it with no alternative, so we may not have any human spaceflight until the next administration decides to restart development.

Yep! Pretty well deep too I might add.

Yeah it was a pretty sweet deal all because Siemens did all the lighting in Disney. It's staffed with a receptionist 8 hours a day so it's gotta be pretty expensive.

Yeah I was kind of sad to see that happen, but at the same time I found out his administration is sending them funding for deep space exploration and a mars mission which has a tentative 2030 date on it. I'd really like to see something like that in our lifetime.
