very clever! my only thought is that the apocalypse actually brings on paradise & sam and dean never had eden to lose. (i'm thinking somewhat in biblical terms though.)

I can't see Supernatural doing the judgement day thing in proper biblical fashion though, really. I mean, in Supernatural, the heavenly chain of command is likened to a capitalist business model. But, I don't know, maybe it will eventually, who fucking knows, man. Just when I think I know where Supernatural is going on me it always switches anyway. And up until just now I'd only considered Sam as Eve jokingly but Supernatural is so messed up that it actually works. asdfghjkl;'

And it is not cheap! ): When I was doing book shopping last week all the copies I could find were big plush ones with loads of appendices for £10+. Maybe I'll look on Amazon and see if they've got more of a variety though.

yeah of course. i mean it's a contemporary retelling and a tv show which changes the whole thing...it'd be kinda nice to see Sam as leading to the downfall of humanity, rather than a woman! even if the snake is still there...

penguin classics here has it for 14NZD (£5.30). appendices can be pretty useful for PL though...

And it's not doing it literally or by the book at all, really. I mean, hi, demon blood. Also, do you think that because Ruby played the role of the snake/satan that makes it more likely that Lucifer will choose to possess her? 'Cause y'know he was possessing the snake in Paradise Lost or do you think it'll simply be Ruby was his agent, she's gone, no more Genevieve Cortese with her pretty lips.

Oh, nice! In the bookshops I went to they were selling this big copy with notes by Philip Pullman for like £16.99 (43.83 NZD) and there was some other one with no price on it anywhere. \: Amazon has the Oxford World Classics edition for £4.79 (12.36 NZD) though! Result. :D
