everyone's moving so fast around me and still i'm standing here in hesitation. with my feet planted to the ground, head bobbing on my shoulders, my lips pressed together and hands at my side, i'm reaching out to no one. i throw it all out on canvas or write it all out in words and i'm beginning to think i'm depositing too much trust in inanimate
